Upcycling Durga Puja Pandals

Fundraiser Campaign - Durga Puja/Diwali 2020

Extended till 14th November 2020

This year for Durga Puja and Diwali, two forces have joined hands together for this fundraising campaign. Crafted in collaboration with Multilogue Collective, these products have been made by re-using the elements of the 'pandal'. The cloth was donated by Chittaranjan Park Durga Puja Samiti (B-Block) and Decorator, Mr. Charanjit Singh, owner of Ludhiana Tent House, New Delhi.

The fabric that would have accounted for waste at the end of the year was kept aside and was used to make these products by our team at WeAreLabeless. With the belief, nothing is truly wasted until we waste it.

The sale of the products will serve as a fundraiser towards the local production makers and it will also be donated to an NGO dealing with a social cause.

What does 'Upcycling' mean?

What does 'Upcycling' mean?

The act of taking something no longer in use and giving it a second life and new function. In doing so, the finished product often becomes more practical, valuable and beautiful than what it previously was.
